# Customize shipping protection products at checkout to avoid customer confusion

To avoid customer confusion and make the experience match your brand, you can customize the Shipping Protection product that appears at checkout.

### Why You Might See the Shipping Protection Product

Because of Shopify’s shopping cart system, **Shipping Protection is created as a digital product in your store**.\
When you enable the Shipping Protection widget, the app automatically creates this product so it can be added to orders as an optional protection service.

Since it’s treated like a regular product in your store, you can easily adjust its **name, image, and description** to better fit your brand and prevent misunderstandings from customers

### How to Customize the Shipping Protection Product

Follow these simple steps to update it:

**Step 1: Go to Your Products**

1. From your **Shopify admin**, go to **Products**.
2. Search for the product named **Shipping Insurance** (automatically created by the app).

**Step 2: Edit Product Details**

1. Click on the Shipping Insurance product.
2. Update the **product title**, **image**, or **description** to match your store’s tone and style.

   * Example: You might rename it to “Order Protection” or “Delivery Coverage.”
   * You can also replace the image with your store’s branding or icon.

**Step 3: Save Changes**

1. Click **Save** when you’re done editing.
2. Your changes will automatically apply at checkout.
